| Andrea Comfort Martinez joined the firm in 2010 as an associate immigration attorney. Ms. Martinez's work covers most aspects of immigration law, from family-based visas and naturalization to immigration court and removal defense. Andrea has worked with businesses in out-bound visa solutions and has represented businesses and individuals in employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas. Education and ExperienceMs. Martinez attended law school at American University’s Washington College of Law (WCL). During law school she served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Arlington Immigration Court and studied abroad in South Korea. |

As a third-year law student Ms. Martinez was selected to join the WCL International Human Rights Law Clinic where she represented various asylum seekers as a student attorney. After graduating from law school she worked in Guatemala, Central America assisting in the prosecution of child sex offenders with International Justice Mission. In 2004, Ms. Martinez graduated magna cum laude from John Brown University (Siloam Springs, AR) with a B.A. in International Studies and an A.S. in Broadcasting. During college she studied abroad in Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua & Cuba. She is fluent in the Spanish language. Ms. Martinez is a member of the State Bar of Missouri and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association. |
